thank you card for crossing guard
Needed some thank you cards & pulled this one out of my stash…I have a vague recollection that perhaps we did this at a class at some point….but who knows. When I grabbed it, I noticed that the bug holding the leaf is in the same posture that the crossing guard has when she is at the cross walk holding up her stop sign!! So this went to our crossing guard, Genevieve, who calls each child by name as they walk her cross walk. I kid you not.
Anyway, it uses the stamp set Cute as a Bug, which retires in a few days. Print pattern is the background stamp; cardstock is green galore, gable green (the lighter green), pixie pink (aka Dora the Explorer pink) and whisper white cardstock. Green brad anchors the word window punch "tag". Image is coloured with stampin’ write markers.
