Snow Swirled is definitely a favourite holiday set this year! Here's a swap sample from one of the demonstrators in my downline, Kaye. I love the insert she created for her card, providing for an inside that's just as pretty as the outside! A great idea that you can use in your own cards – also makes for goof proof reproductions – if you mess up the insert, it's easier to re-do an insert than to re-do an entire card….lol. Not that Kaye messed up, but that's me speaking as the voice of experience!!
I'm keeping up with the NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) challenge of a post a day until the end of November…see you tomorrow…

This is Melanie's swap card. I tried to adjust the colours but it's still not quite right…still working on my photoshop skills…
This is actually done in baja breeze… with the sentiment in riding hood red. The card is whisper white. The snowflake from Snow Swirled was punched with the coordinating snow blossom punch, and mounted on the same punch out in whisper white, anchored in place with a blue rhinestone circle brad – from the Ice collection. This would be an easy card to "mass produce" as the main body of the card could be stamped on a single sheet of cardstock, then cut into 4 sections, scallop edged and mounted onto a white card. I'm partial to blue cards….so this one caught my eye! Hope these ongoing swap samples have inspired you in your own card creations – there's still time to create your own masterpieces in time for the holiday card season!

I hope you're enjoying the swap samples I'm sharing….this is created by Andrea – a traditional red & green Christmas card! It uses the Stampin' Up! sets Christ Is Born and Canvas. She's accented it with gold brads, linen thread and riding hood red taffeta ribbon. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with heat embossing at the holidays!! Gold embossing powder on the sentiment makes it stand out, and the poinsettia is cut out and mounted on the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Another lovely sample!

This wonderful card was created by Tacye out in BC. It's a fantastic use of the Top Note, here in riding hood red. She's used the scallop edge punch on whisper white cardstock and wrapped it with riding hood red grosgrain. The main image is from the hostess level one set Punches Three, this stamp coordinating with the scallop square punch. The monochromatic theme of this card makes it clean & classy.
Tomorrow will bring another sample for you…plus another week of the 12 weeks of Christmas in your inbox if you've subscribed to my email newsletter!

This sample is on my located on my demonstrator business website but I wanted to post it here as well to remind you all of the Rub-Ons promotion that's on until the end of the month! With your $20 merchandise order, you receive 20% off any rub-ons order!
This cute Christmas card uses both the Old St Nick rub ons (the sentiment) and the Season of Cheer rub ons (the snowflake). No stamping on this card *gasp*!! There's a strip of the Ski Slope Designer Series paper along the bottom, plus some of the great Alpine ribbon and silver elastic cord. The scallop in behind the circles is actually from the Big Shot Pennant Die – there's 2 sizes of pennants plus a number of scalloped circles on it that you can use as elements on cards or scrapbook pages, or turn into a 3D ornament.
Thanks for checking in! More ideas tomorrow and in the 12 Weeks of Christmas mail out later this week…

This card was created by Christina, my roomie from Stampin' Up! Leadership Convention in Palm Springs this past January. We had a great time sight seeing, shopping and oh yes, attending some great classes and creating some great samples! I enjoy meeting up with friends from across the country and continent at Stampin' Up! events – Christina's in Manitoba so it was nice to be able to spend some time with her.
Anyway – Christina's used the Top Note Die to highlight the tree image from Snow Swirled (it's a popular holiday stamp set, judging by the number of swap samples I received with images from it!). The tree and sentiment are embossed in silver, with sponged ink highlighting the tree and distressed edges of cardstock. It looks like Christina's pried apart a rhinestone brad (one of the Circle Ice brads) to place a "star" at the top of the tree – a sparkly touch to finish off the card!
