Thank you for stopping by the YamStamps site. I hope that you are able to spend time today in a way that is meaningful and important to you.
It’s been one of those years where I feel like I’ve been playing catch up or keep up the whole time. The statutory holidays give me a few days off in a row, and I’m looking forward to spending time resting and recharging, as well as catching up with family. I may, of course, throw a little crafting in there as well!
I hope that you have a wonderful day. Merry Christmas!
Happy Christmas Eve! I always enjoy a bit of quiet time before Christmas Day, just looking at the tree….usually because I’m sitting on the ground after finishing up my wrapping!! In any case, I’ve set up a post in the schedule so I can take some time off, and I’m hoping everything works correctly….
I’m giving you early access to my Boxing Day Special! From now until 27 December 2023, you can get a “Fantastic” Exclusive Bundle at 50% off regular price! I’ve created the special bundle of the Fantastic Florals Online Class and the Fantastic Fancy Folds Class – EACH is regularly $30CAD but for Boxing Day, you’ll get them BOTH for $30CAD! Of course, like my other classes, it’s lifetime access (or reasonable facsimile….in any case, more than enough time to go through the classes more than a few times!).
Grab this retiring Die set so you can create your own Handcrafted Elements Card!
I was late to find the Handcrafted Elements Dies in the September – December Mini Catalogue, and they’ll be retiring on 3 January 2024 – so don’t miss out! They’re discounted as part of the Last Chance Sale too!
Here’s one of my Handcrafted Elements Cards…
I love that the dies work with each other to create a more complex image (without ME having to do all the work!). To make this handcrafted elements card even easier, I added some Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Gold Foil sheet before die cutting. The top die is a lot more detailed and has thinner pieces, so with me and my usually messy adhesive application, it was sure to end up everywhere – so the adhesive sheet is a perfect way to adhere it quickly and neatly! I did end up using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Mossy Meadow die cut to the cardfront, though, focusing the dots of glue on the wider parts of the die cut.
To keep the colour scheme simple, I added the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed in gold. Texture from the crosshatch design of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (my current “go to” for easy backgrounds) makes the Very Vanilla backdrop a little more interesting.
The Handcrafted Elements Dies also have a floral themed tag, an ornament and a star – so it’s a great multipurpose set to have on hand – and it’s 10% off while supplies last / until 3 January 2024. Add these dies to your crafting stash so you can make your own handcrafted elements cards for all occasions!
No need to panic (yet)…there’s still time to grab a gift for the crafter in your life!
(and it still counts if the crafter is you, by the way!!)
Did you know that I offer gift certificates? I can customize the gift certificate and email it to you for easy printing/forwarding to the recipient. Give a creative gift!
Gift certificates are available in any amount, and are good for class fees (internationally) or Stampin’ Up! Canada merchandise purchased through me (must be delivered to a Canadian address). Contact me to get a gift certificate today! I accept etransfers or can do a credit card payment if you prefer.
The next online class is a Star Book Class – just in time to make some gifts for special people!
The Star Book Online Class will launch Thursday 7 December at 7 pm Eastern, and it’s been fun working on the projects so far. There’s a basic design, and then there’s variations that you can make to suit the occasion, your supplies on hand, and the person who’s going to receive the book! During the class I’ll also share my tips for easy assembly (aka “learn from my mistakes” LOL). Prelaunch sale price in effect until 7 December – save $10CAD on lifetime access!
Check out the class prototype in action!
For those that like written instructions as well as visuals, you can purchase the add-on printable PDF. Basic measurements and instructions are provided on the site in writing, but I know that some like to have something in hand when crafting, so that’s why I have the optional PDF.
