I had fun (as always) on CH Morning Live yesterday. Time always seems to fly so I'm not sure if you were able to catch much of a glimpse of this card on air. I used the Heart Shaped Sweet Treat Cups and some Conversation Heart candy (I think that's what they're called…). The Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay colours are a bright combination for this fun card. The stamped image is from the Sweetheart Stamp set. I love how the images fit the heart shaped sweet treat cups…and how the cups fit perfectly into the opening created by the full heart punch. It's a no-brainer (perfect for me!! LOL). The hearts along the bottom were created with the new small heart punch.
I had a lot of creations that probably didn't get viewed on air, so I'll be posting pictures of them here at yamstamps.com. I'm hoping to have the video of the appearance posted here in the next day or so as well, so be sure to come back to check it out. Until then, thanks for stopping by.

I was introduced to Build-a-Bear when I was in the US a number of years ago (my first Stampin' Up convention in Las Vegas) – and now they're here in Canada too! I love Stampin' Up's Build-a-Bear Workshop Collection, and there's more reason to love these great dies, stamps and papers… Until April 30th, with every $25 purchase from this collection, you'll receive a coupon for $5 off at the Build-a-Bear workshop store near you! The collection is featured on p 38-40 of the Occasions Mini Catalogue. You can contact me for more information, or if you're ready to place your order, you can order online here. Don't forget with your $65 merchandise order, you will also get a Sale-a-Bration product of your choice for FREE!
This card was made using the Stampin' Up! Bear Bigz die. I used the Pawsitively Prints Designer Series paper with the Beary Essentials die to create the clothes, and then I used the new Small Heart punch for the heart he's holding.
I'll be taking this sample with me when I appear on TV on Monday (CH Morning Live) – and I'll be getting up slightly earlier – my time slot is now scheduled for 8:10 am!! In the meantime, I'll be back in my stamping room finishing up my other show & tell projects!!

I always like cards that are not too fussy, so this one fit the bill for me. I used the Vintage Labels Sale-a-Bration stamp set (free with $65 merchandise order). On the bottom of this long card I used the single stamp Fine Flourish from the Occasions mini catalogue. I stamped in Whisper White craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder to give a subtle dimension to the card.
I always love to add the flowers and half pearls from the Pretties kit – I think they're my favourite embellishments! The bottom of the white cardstock is punched with the new Pinking Hearts border punch. I love how easy it is to use the new style punches!
Here's a close up of the bottom of the card – hopefully you get a better view of the embossed portion.
I've been busy preparing for my next TV appearance – I've been invited back to CH Morning Live this Monday, February 8th. I'm going to be sharing some Valentine's Day ideas. Please tune in to see me! I'm scheduled for approximately 8:20 am.

This card features one of my favourite new sets from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Mini Catalogue! Vintage Vogue is a set of 8 stamps and there's a coordinating jumbo wheel called Very Vintage. I used the wheel along the bottom of the cardfront, and the stamp image on top. Shocking, but I actually cut out the "F" so I could pop it up and create some more dimension on the card. I say "shocking" because those who have attended my classes or clubs know that I tend not to do any "fussy cutting". I did bend that rule in this case (and it wasn't all _that_ fussy in the end LOL) – because this card warranted the effort!!
I do have openings in my upcoming classes if you're interested in a night out. Please check my event page and contact me to register! Don't forget – if you're unable to attend one of my classes on the scheduled evening, get a group of friends together and we can have a "private" class just for you on another date!!

Have you seen the fun Sweet Pea Stitched Felt in Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Mini Catalogue?! So cute! This is a card we did at Stampers & Scrappers club the other night…well almost…we added a French Knot circle on the ribbon (after I took this photo). Anyway, I went with the stitched effect on this card – with the double stitched Rose Red grosgrain ribbon and faux stitching on the main image. To create faux stitching, punch holes in your cardstock and join them using the pen tip (as opposed to the brush tip) end of your Stampin' Write marker. To make my border stitches as neat (and straight!) as possible, I used the paper piercer guide mat at the top & bottom of the image. I was daring and "free handed" the stem. One club member wanted to be sure her stem was "just so" and drew her stem first, then punched along her line. Whatever works! The sentiment is also from the Occasions Mini – Well Scripted.
The Sweet Pea stitched felt is a great deal – 52 stitched felt pieces for $11.95 – an easy way to impress the card recipient! Contact me or click here to place your order – don't forget your free Sale-a-Bration product with every $65 merchandise order!

One of the perks of hosting a Stampin' Up! workshop is the exclusive hostess product! This card features the Level 3 hostess set, The More the Merrier. I just coloured in a few features on the cupcakes and blinged the card with glitter! Two lines of sticky strip tape topped with Fine Cosmo Celery Glitter.
I'm working on Stampers Club cards for this week…this club session will end next month. If you're in the Burlington ON area and are interested in joining the next set of club dates, (or want more information!) please contact me. It's a fun way to get hostess benefits and budget your stamping spending at the same time!
