OK, so maybe not so spooky, more cute, but whatever. This quick and easy card uses the Halloween Hang Ups jumbo wheel (from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Mini Catalogue) as the main image. The patterned paper is from the Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper package. Card is Cajun Craze cardtock and Basic Black cardstock accent. I took the colours straight from the DSP – no thinking required – just my type of crafting! LOL.
I'll be sharing another Hallowe'en type crafty project tomorrow so be sure to check back for your treat!
The Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalogue is now here! This is a _fantastic_ mini catalogue (as the size of my demonstrator only pre-order shipment will attest). So many great products including a fantastic scoring board!
Here's a link to the online copy. I did send a number of copies out in the mail so I will be following up to be sure that they arrived safe & sound….if you didn't get a copy, please contact me and I'll be happy to make sure one gets to you! Otherwise, Happy Shopping!
If you're a fan of my Yamstamps Facebook Page you'll have seen the update I posted – I'm going to be on CH Morning Live tomorrow morning (Monday, July 4th) at 8:10 am (approximately!). I'll be sharing some craft ideas for you to do with the kids in your life.
Here's a sneak peek at a mini book I'm planning on sharing – I'll show the rest of it tomorrow, and if by chance we run out of time before I get to show how it's made, I'll be sure to create a video to share!
And with the arrival of a new month, comes new things from Stampin' Up! The Summer Mini Catalogue is now in effect. May is also (Inter)"National Scrapbooking Month" and so to celebrate, there are some specials for the month of May! Digital, traditional or hybrid (the combination of digital and traditional!), these items will help you in your scrapbooking and crafting efforts!
One of the latest offerings from Stampin' Up! is patterned fabric. For sewers and quilters, many possibilities for these products spring to mind, I'm sure. For non-sewers (of which, sadly, I seem to have become one, as my sewing machine gathers dust in the corner…), you may wonder what you could use the fabric for. This fun floral accent was created using the Fun Flowers Bigz Die with the Big Shot and the Springtime Vintage Designer Fabric. The flowers were die cut, then spray starched & ironed, but while warm, were scrunched a bit. The flowers then get stacked together as desired, and stitched or glued together, with a Vintage Floral Adornment glued to the centre as a finishing touch. These could be used for papercrafting, home decor or fashion accents. Non-sewers and sewers alike can enjoy the possibilities with Stampin' Up!'s designer fabrics! (Who knows, maybe the non-sewers amongst us will be inspired to pull out that needle and thread?!)
