Dec 8, 2015 | Announcements, specials, Stampin' Up!
Sorry for a bit of radio silence here on the blog – busy offline! In the meantime – here’s the latest batch of Weekly Deals from Stampin’ Up! Canada. Remember that there’s a limited amount of these items at the special price, and only for a week. My favourite this week (though I love and own all these items! LOL) – has to be the Precision Base Plate. I love it for cutting out detailed thinlits (which I’ve been doing a fair bit of right now as I am rushing to get MY Christmas cards done!!). I think that if you’re going to be using the Big Shot, you might as well have the proper tools to make your crafting more efficient and easy – so this falls into that category for me.
Other good news today??!! Our wishes (and the demonstrators making a lot of noise and sales LOL) have been answered! Stampin’ Up! has reversed the retirement of the Woodlands Folder! While it is no longer available to be ordered at this time (backorders will be filled), it WILL be returning in next year’s catalogue!!! They could not ignore how popular this folder was! Yay! So even if you couldn’t grab one this time around, know that there’s more coming.
In the meantime – happy shopping! Come back to the YamStamps site again this week – I’ll be sharing some fantastic holiday themed cards I’ve received!
Dec 1, 2015 | specials, Stampin' Up!
Happy December! It’s a busy day in the YamStamps world – new Stampin’ Up! Canada Weekly Deals, the monthly newsletter goes out today, Week 10 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas goes out tomorrow….*phew*. This week, I have decided to go with my basic instinct when picking out my favourite weekly deal – I’m easily distracted by shiny objects, so the Gold Glimmer Paper is down as my fave deal this week. Great for adding glamour and bling to your projects! Click on the link or the image to see all the Weekly Deals in the YamStamps online store (and YamStamps App users, I _think_ I’ve figured out a workaround for the store link issues, so see if it works for you in this post!). Please feel free to contact me if you need assistance placing your order or have any questions.
Also – if you’re in the Halton Cogeco viewing area, check out @Home this week – I taped a segment last week featuring some holiday decor and crafting ideas. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get a digital version to share here, but if I can’t, I will produce a video sharing a fun project I did on the show. In the meantime, Happy Shopping and Happy Crafting!
Nov 30, 2015 | Announcements, specials, Stampin' Up!
A reminder that TODAY is the last day for Stampin’ Up!’s Online Extravaganza, and the last Flash Sale is on right now. Grab some deals while you can, and don’t forget to use the host code Y3ZGNTTE to receive free access to my Merry & Bright Online Class.
Another note – I’ve become aware that there’s a bit of an issue with product links in the YamStamps App – we’re working on it, but in the meantime, in the app, click on the dots/”more”, then on “Shop Now” and that seems to get you into my online Stampin’ Up! Canada store. Sorry for the slight inconvenience. We’ll be fixing that ASAP! In the meantime – Happy Shopping and thanks for supporting YamStamps!!
Nov 29, 2015 | cards, specials, Stampin' Up!
I love working with vellum because I always think it gives an elegant touch to projects! This is an easy thank you card made with Stampin’ Up! Gold Fancy Foil Vellum (which is part of the Online Extravaganza ending November 30th). The heart vellum is layered on top of English Garden Designer Series Paper. The word “thanks” from the Another Thank You set is stamped in Soft Suede onto the Designer Series Paper. An additional layer of interest is added by stamping the watercolour flower image from Garden In Bloom in Old Olive on the Old Olive card. The gold doily cut in half at the top of the strip hides the adhesive holding the vellum in place. The bottom of the vellum is left loose.
Tomorrow (Monday) is the last day for Stampin’ Up!’s Online Extravaganza, and there’s one more set of Flash Sale items to be had on the final day. See the full list of sale items here. For the Flash Sale: If you like Project Life, or need to make some Christmas tags, you won’t want to miss out! There’s a Project Life bundle that includes a 12 x 12 album, pocket pages and This is the Life Cards and Accessory Pack. A perfect Christmas gift for a busy person who still wants to be organized and keep track of life events! I’ve also used Project Life Accessory Pack items to decorate in my planner 🙂 (I shared it on Twitter). The Christmas Tagables set will also be available in a discounted bundle with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch (edited – my mistake!!) Elegant Tag Topper Punch– great for your gift giving! (Please note that the bundle links won’t work until the Flash Sale is in effect….if I’ve done it properly!! LOL). Happy Shopping!

Nov 20, 2015 | Announcements, cards, specials, Stampin' Up!
Pulled out this Stampin’ Up! set to create a fun floral card with Stampers Club members the other night. We used the Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder on the overlaid piece and the Flower Patch stamp set with coordinating Flower Fair Framelits Dies for the images on the card. Added an elegant touch with the Pearl Basic Jewels which are one of my “go to” accents when a card needs a little something extra.
If you’re in need of a little something extra for your crafting – you’ll love this! Stampin’ Up! is having an ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA!
Starting Monday, selected items will be on sale for up to 50% with flash sales (24 hours only) on the first day (November 23rd) and last day (November 30th) – while supplies last. See what’s going to be on sale. Once you’ve got your list made up – after the sale starts – head here to shop online. Use the hostess code Y3ZGNTTE if your order is under $200 and you will get free access to the Merry Moments Online Class! If your order is over $200 you will automatically get free access to the online class (plus you’ll earn Stampin’ Rewards aka free product!). Contact me if you have any questions or need assistance placing your order.
