Here are the latest Stampin’ Up! Canada Weekly Deals – special prices in limited amounts. I love those metal rimmed pearls! So classy. Great embellishments for your holiday crafting. You can go to YamStamps Online Store to place your order or contact me if you need help doing so, or have any questions.
I hope that you had a wonderful Canadian Thanksgiving yesterday! It was gorgeous weather. I went along with the Burlington Teen Tour Band to the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest parade – it was an early start to the day but we were home by noon! Plenty of time to relax, watch baseball (Go Jays!) and eat leftover turkey.
A last reminder that there’s a November Christmas Card Class, plus I’ve added a Stamp a Stack of Christmas Cards at the end of November as well – no excuse not to have a few handmade cards on hand for those special people in your life!! See the YamStamps Events page for more information and registration links. I look forward to seeing you in class!
Now is a great time to try Paper Pumpkin! If you sign up by October 10th, you’ll get the October paper crafting kit (which comes in a special pink box!) PLUS Stampin’ Up! will make a donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. If you sign up through me, I will make a donation for each of MY Paper Pumpkin subscribers, so you can be responsible for DOUBLE the donation dollars.
I signed up for Paper Pumpkin after I realized I also subscribed to a similar thing for makeup (Ipsy), which I started just as a fun treat for myself. Then I realized, DUH….why wouldn’t I do the same thing for my crafting? Each month I get an exclusive photopolymer stamp set plus all the supplies to make a fun project – often it’s cards, but can also be packaging and gift items. It’s a perfect size to take with me when I travel or go to a crafting event/crop.
There are some great items included in Stampin’ Up! Canada’s Weekly Deals to make a cute package of treats for your special Hallowe’en visitors! My favourite item this week – I love a good Big Shot Die, so the Hamburger Box is up there. Despite the mess they make when I knock an open container over, I also love the Metallics Sequin Assortment. Don’t forget that the Weekly Deals are a limited quantity, special priced group, so if you want to take advantage, the best bet is to place an online order through the YamStamps Stampin’ Up! Canada site.Contact me if you need help placing your order or have any questions. Happy Shopping!
Oh – and that comment about the mess? Photographic evidence of my clumsiness from Instagram:
I’m excited to be on Morning Live today (estimated air time 9:45 am) – sharing some cardmaking ideas in honour of World Cardmaking Day (this Saturday). I’m also hoping to boost my donation amount! For each Paper Pumpkin subscriber, Stampin’ Up! is donating to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation – $1 per subscriber, and $2 for each new subscriber by October 10th. I have pledged to match that donation personally for each Paper Pumpkin subscriber who is signed up through me. So please sign up! It’s a fun monthly paper crafting kit, and right now you’ll help raise funds for a worthy cause. Plus it comes in a pink box in October!
I’m sharing this card that I am NOT planning on sharing on TV today, since we know how that goes for me in general….I plan a blog post with a project that I’m intending to show on air, and somehow run out of time or forget to show it during the segment….so I’m not even going to try with this one! This was made with the Stampin’ Up! set You’ve Got This and stamped with the new format Archival Basic Black ink which gives a great, sharp imprint, and withstood watercolouring with an Aquapainter.
Last but not least – be subscribed to the YamStamps list by 1pm Eastern today to get the first week of the Twelve Weeks of Christmas projects! (Yes, it’s true…12 weeks until Christmas…). These projects will not be posted anywhere else – they’re exclusive to my mailing list subscribers and will NOT be resent -so don’t miss out on getting all 12 of these projects! You can sign up by filling in the box at the top right of the blog…or get more information and sign up here. No shortage of options to get on the list!
Here are the latest Weekly Deals from Stampin’ Up! Canada – special prices in a limited quantity for a limited time. I love a lot of things on this list, but I realize that I have a thing for hearts….because my favourite item this week is the Happy Heart Embossing Folder. I know, there’s so many other great things on this list, including the two great punch boards, but maybe it’s something about the pattern repetition, but I do love that folder. OK I also love the border punch, but I’m trying to get better about picking ONE favourite item of the week. Trying.
If you {heart} any of these items, don’t forget to grab them while you can! Shop in the YamStamps online store and have your items delivered directly to you, or if you need help placing your order or have any questions, please contact me. I will be placing an order this weekend, so if you’re in the Burlington area, I can include your items in that order.
I’ve been busy working behind the scenes, shooting & editing video for a Christmas card online class that is slated to go live this Saturday, World Cardmaking Day! If you want to attend a Christmas Card Class in person, don’t forget that October 1 is the registration deadline for the October Christmas Card Class! You will get a package of Seasons of Cheer Designer Series Paper and a package of Rhinestones included in your $30 class fee. We’ll make 4 cards using those supplies with PLENTY left over for you to take home and make more projects! Click here to register or contact me. See the YamStamps Events page for more details and other upcoming events.
Oh – and tune in to CHCH Morning Live around 9:45 tomorrow morning for my appearance celebrating cardmaking!
Stampin’ Up! Canada’s Weekly Deals are full of stars this week! My favourite is the framelits, but a close second is the embossing folder, and the ribbon…and….*sigh* it’s like picking a favourite child. Don’t forget that the items are specially price and in limited quantities, so your best bet is to go online and place your order right away. If you need help placing your order or have any questions, please contact me.
It was a busy week last week – first full week of school and back to routine. After being keen to get things going, I wondered WHY when I fell into bed exhausted at the end of the week! It was a busy week for YamStamps Classes as well – we did a Christmas Card Class, the Tin of Cards Class and yesterday was Stampers Club. Lots of craftiness happening around here – and lots of happy people with projects completed too! If you’re interested in attending the next Christmas Card Class, the registration (and payment) deadline is October 1st and the class will be Thursday, October 15th at 7pm. This time around class attendees will receive a package of Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper and a set of Rhinestones. We will use portions of these supplies to create the 4 holiday cards at class and you’ll take the rest home for your other crafting projects (or to recreate the cards in bulk!). Cost is $30 and includes the product and ALL supplies required to make the projects that evening. Please see the YamStamps events page to register or contact me for more details or alternate payment options. See you soon!
