One punch, two stamps, three ink pads, four cardstocks and you have a card! This “just because” card uses the Stampin’ Up! Bitty Butterfly punch, the “swoosh” stamp from Work of Art and the “hello” stamp from A Dozen Thoughts. Three inks – the new In Colour Mint Macaron which coordinates on this card with So Saffron and Blushing Bride. Four cardstocks – Very Vanilla, Mint Macaron and scraps of So Saffron and Blushing Bride. Add a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and you’ve got a card! This could also work for a baby card with the soft colours, or you could change the colour scheme entirely to become more bold and vivid.

I think the gift card envelope thinlit is so useful – especially when you have teenagers in the house – because let’s face it, that’s all they really seem to want as gifts! My other favourites this week – the satin ribbon. Having a neutral or metallic sheen plain ribbon on hand can add a perfect touch to a card or paper crafting project when it needs a little something extra. Happy Shopping!

These are some ideas of what you can create with the Stampin’ Up! set Sprinkles of Life. I love when things coordinate and I don’t have to think, and this set coordinates with the new Tree Builder Punch, which of course means easy “cut outs” without having to pull out the Paper Snips! The other great thing about this stamp set? A portion of sales goes to Ronald McDonald House Charities. So you can be creative, have fun, and help raise funds for a great charity. This is one of the sets I was able to preorder from the new catalogue, but (insert sad face here) I haven’t had a lot of time to play with it yet!! I’m currently busy getting things ready for my YamStamps New Catalogue Open House and Retired Rubber Garage Sale Saturday morning…and I’ve tried to be extra ruthless in the culling of stamp sets this year (I admit, there are sets I was kind of hanging on to…). Operation Organization is an ongoing thing at my place, and I’ve realized that the first step to my Stamp Room being more organized is to get rid of stuff!!! So I’m looking to people Saturday to help me out! No pressure or anything….

First of all – it’s the transition to the new catalogue – so it’s last day for the Occasions and 2014-2015 Catalogues and first day for the 2015-2016 Catalogue. If you have RSVP‘d for the YamStamps New Catalogue Open House and Retired Rubber Garage Sale, you’ll have a copy of the new catalogue waiting for you when you arrive. If you can’t make it that day, please complete this form to get a copy! In the meantime, you can download the digital version here.

It’s also the last day to be sure you’ve downloaded any MDS digital image purchases. See the post here for more information and instructions. (HINT: you may want to purchase ink pads, cardstocks and a Big Shot June 2nd, but wait to purchase adhesives and foil sheets til June 3rd…)
Last but not least – the YamStamps New Catalogue Open House and Retired Rubber Garage Sale is THIS Saturday, June 6 from 9am til noon. Your RSVP will get you a complimentary copy of the 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue (and directions to the sale!). Your Retired Rubber Purchases will earn you credit towards your New Catalogue Order that day as well!
