These are some of the cards that you might not have gotten a good look at during my CH Morning Live TV appearance. Getting set for Father's Day….this is an easy card to recreate! I coloured each tie with either a Bashful Blue or Certainly Celery Stampin' Write marker, then "huffed" on it (like Darth Vadar) to remoisten the ink before stamping it onto the cardstock.
On the next card, I stamped the image with Night of Navy Classic Ink, then trimmed out one of the ties to use on my origami shirt.
I was going to show how to fold the shirt while on CH Morning Live, then decided against it as it might have been hard to see. (That, and I figured there was a high probability that I'd mess it up with no chance for a "re-do"!!) I'll try to get a youtube video up to show how it's done (video = as many retakes as I need before I post the final product LOL).
I'll have some more Father's Day / masculine card samples for you tomorrow!
I have uploaded the video from my June 7th appearance on CH Morning Live featuring Father's Day cards and photo gifts. Watching the video, I notice that the projects on the right side of the table never got featured, so I will be sure to upload photos of those in the upcoming days, so please come back to www.yamstamps.com to see them! If you can't see the video embedded below, please click HERE to go to my youtube channel (ironically enough, called yamstamps LOL) and watch it there. Thanks to Tom for the video capture. One of these days perhaps I'll figure out how to do that myself…..perhaps…..
Wouldn't this make a great Father's Day gift? That's what I'm thinking…. I created this scrapbook page using the Strength & Hope digital set. For each digital or rubber stamp set that is purchased, Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It's a win-win in my book!
I will be sharing this project and others on CH Morning Live, tomorrow – Tuesday, June 7th around 8:10 am so please tune in! I have my trusty technician Tom on the job, so will hopefully also be able to upload video of the appearance as well.
Shelli Gardner, Co-Founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!, has created this video to share the wonderful creativity and versatility of Stampin' Up! products. Lots of wonderful projects and inspiration! If you can't see the video, click here. If you're interested in learning more about Stampin' Up!, please RSVP for my Information Evening – scheduled for Wednesday, February 23rd at 7pm, here in Burlington, Ontario.
As promised, here's the video tutorial on how to create the easy Glimmer 3D heart from the inside of the "Things I Love" card. Again, if you're viewing the blog post in an email or in a reader, the video link may not appear, so please come to www.yamstamps.com or the yamstamps youtube channel. Thanks for watching!!
It finally finished uploading! Here's the video of my recent appearance on CH Morning Live. Just when I think I've figured out the timing for the segments, I'm proved wrong (yet again! LOL). Anyway, I will also be uploading a tutorial video in the next day or so showing how to create the 3D heart that I had also planned on showing on air! If you're reading this blog post in email or a reader, please come to www.yamstamps.com directly or to the yamstamps youtube channel. Thanks!
