Easy ornament – video tutorial available!

Halloween-ornamentThis is a Hallowe'en version of an easy home decor element.  By switching out the DSP, you can make the decoration suit whatever occasion you wish!  I have a video tutorial on how to create this at my yamstamps facebook fan page.  All you have to do is click "like" on the page, then follow the instructions to view the video!

A hint – if you have a repeating design like this paper – if you keep the strips stacked in the order that you cut them, the pattern will be (more or less!) intact when you finish your project!

Hope you all have a safe and fun Hallowe'en!  Fingers crossed it's not too cold out there tonight for trick or treating!

Sending Spooky Greetings!

Halloween-cardOK, so maybe not so spooky, more cute, but whatever.  This quick and easy card uses the Halloween Hang Ups jumbo wheel (from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Mini Catalogue) as the main image.  The patterned paper is from the Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper package.  Card is Cajun Craze cardtock and Basic Black cardstock accent.  I took the colours straight from the DSP – no thinking required – just my type of crafting! LOL.

I'll be sharing another Hallowe'en type crafty project tomorrow so be sure to check back for your treat!

It would be scary to miss out!

A quick reminder that the end of October is drawing near.  If you are sitting on the fence about either of the Stampin' Up! specials this month, you only have a few days if you'd like to take advantage – don't miss out!  The Simply Sent promotion ends on Hallowe'en, as does the starter kit free Big Shot promotion (or as I like to call it "The ultimate business builder's tool!!"). Please contact me ASAP if you'd like more information – nothing scarier than regrets?!

And now we resume regular broadcasting…

Oh my! It's been quite an experience for me of late.  My computer started to act up and in the end I needed to get a new system, so it's been a whirlwind of visits to computer geeks to get files and folders transferred over and get the new system up to scratch….but I think (touch wood!) it's all settled now!! Thank you for your patience.

So – apologies for the bit of radio silence.  On the plus side, I have a spiffy new computer system and am ensuring that my backups are up to date as well LOL.

I have a new video up on my yamstamps facebook fan page for fans!  All you have to do (if you haven't already) is click on "like" to get access to it.

Also a reminder that the Stitched Stockings Themed class is coming up next week, so if you haven't already reserved your spot – please do so ASAP.  Hope to see you soon!
