Club members requested to do this card "in person" – always makes it easier to "get" the instructions. For this card, we used Barely Banana cardstock, with Bella Bleu designer series paper and the Stampin' Up! set Great Friend which tends to be a "go to" stamp set for me. I really like the sentiment and images. This card fits in a Stampin' Up! medium envelope (the "standard" card size), but will be a bit bulkier in weight.
Learning by hands-on is one of the best ways to retain techniques, in my opinion. If you'd like to have a chance to do this, please consider attending one of my classes or events. Another great option – host a class in your own home with your friends and family. Contact me for more information!

I love making gift cards – 3" x 3", they're fast, cute and great if you're in a pinch! They fit into Stampin' Up!'s Mini Square envelopes for a perfect addition to a gift, or to be hand delivered "just because".
We created these at club the other evening as a "break" card, as the other cards we made were a little fiddly. Using Stampin' Up!'s Short & Sweet set, with Rich Razzleberry as the ink & accent colour. The 3/4" circle punch was perfect for the image and the 1" circle punch created the background. Add your sentiment and you're done! A handmade card doesn't have to be over the top every time to do the job – here's proof.

Get a jump on your holiday cards and tags! I'm working with my local demonstrator team to present the Holiday Stamp a Stack. We'll create 8 cards (2 of 4 different designs) plus a box for a bunch of gift tags. All this plus light refreshments, door prizes and an evening out! Hope that you are able to enjoy some time with family & friends. I'm sharing a "Happy Harvest" card that we did at the Fall Stamp a Stack. It was designed by Andrea, a member of my downline (in non-demonstrator language that means she signed up as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator with me as her "sponsor").
This card uses the Loads of Love and Loads of Love Accessories stamp sets. It also uses the Stampin' Around wheel Fall Harvest. I love that the ink cartridge fits in the handle for the wheels…but in a pinch, if you don't have a cartridge for the colour you want, you can run the wheel over an ink pad! (Just don't expect to get miles out of it like you would with the handle cartridge LOL)
Andrea & I are teaming up again for the Holiday Stamp a Stack, Friday November 6th at 7pm. Come out for a fun evening of stamping & snacking LOL. We'll create 8 cards and a box of gift tags! Early Bird pricing is in effect now!
