So happy to be back for Sunday Swap Share! This elegant floral paper card was created by Chris Carmichael.

floral paper card

This floral paper card would be fairly easy to recreate – the main background is the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper – which is part of the Buy 3 Get 1 Free special happening until the end of September! You could stock up on this beautiful paper and make a whole bunch of these cards with the various floral patterns. The punched flower is created using the Perennial Flower Punch, the Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock (which is 12″ x 12″), and the Floral Essence Stamp Set. You can get a discounted bundle which includes the stamp set and punch, or you could hit the “Easy” button and get all of these products and more by grabbing the Perennial Essence Suite Bundle! The label is one of the Stitched Nested Labels, and the sentiment is from the Daisy Lane stamp set. The ribbon is the Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon and I think it’s a strip of cardstock peeking through to make the ribbon look two toned. (I don’t have the card in front of me as I type this, I’m just looking at the picture!). I shared a cool trick with this ribbon in the Paper Crafting with YamStamps Facebook Group a little while back (no, I’m not going to tell you here, you’ll have to come join us in the group!! ha!)

So we had a complete cable/internet outage in our household the last couple of days and it was painful! I know, first world problems and all…but it did emphasize to me how much I rely on technology to make my life easier – both my work life and my home life. Breathing a bit easier now that we have internet and wifi back – and I’m not going to look at data usage over the past couple of days. Thankfully my son is away at school, because I can imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth if this had happened when he was home!!

In the meantime, now that I’m not hovering by the door waiting for the service call, I’ll go back to prepping for this week’s Stampers Club and Christmas Card Classes! There are a couple of last minute openings in the Christmas Card Class on Wednesday if you’d like to join us – message me! Otherwise check the YamStamps Events Page to see upcoming dates (I’ve written them down until the end of the year!). Thanks for stopping by and thanks again to Chris for this lovely floral paper card.
