When is Blue Monday not so blue? When you get THIS blue card for Blue Monday! The third Monday of January is apparently known as Blue Monday – the most sad day of the year. Around here – not so sad, because it’s also Stampers Club Day, and getting together with other crafty peeps will always make it a good day.
Here’s a card that I created featuring my favourite colour (blue) and one of my favourite suites from the Stampin’ Up! Jan-June Mini Catalogue – Parisian Blossoms.
I used one of my favourite crafting hacks for this one – pulling colours from the Designer Series Paper (“DSP”) – Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP – to guide my colour choices. In this case – Petal Pink and Pool Party, with a bit of Champagne Foil. The card features the Forever Blossoms Bundle from the Suite – the Cherry Blossoms Dies (to die cut the champagne foil swirls) and the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set (the sentiment). I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the sentiment and the Champagne Foil Sheet background. An extra touch of glamour from the Petal Pink Metallic-Edge Ribbon to finish it off.
This card was super easy and came together quickly – probably because I like the products so much LOL.
