Dec 19, 2015 | cards, Christmas, Seasonal Catalogue, Stampin' Up!
We got snow! Here in Ontario, we’ve been having unseasonably warm weather – while my friends in BC were watching the snow falling on the lower mainland….but we did get some big fat flakes falling today (though apparently it’s supposed to warm up again…who knows…)
Anyway – I don’t think that I shared this earlier….though I have been sharing some recent works of art from some friends on my Instagram account, I realize I’ve been a bit of a slacker here. Apologies! This is a card inspired by one I received from one of my demonstrator team members, Leanne. This dove is gorgeous when embossed, and I love deep colours for the background, so in this case it’s Blackberry Bliss. I also had fun with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder on the Gold Foil Cardstock – it’s such a great look – I ended up using it for a lot of the cards that I managed to get sent out!
The sentiment is embossed in gold and is from the Your Presents stamp set. An extra touch with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch to make it even more fancy and it’s ready to go.

Weekly Deals are here – and don’t forget that the Year End Sale is still in effect! My fave this week: the Pretty Petals Designer Series Stack. Please note that the Sleigh Ride Edgelits are no longer available, and the Woodlands Embossing Folder will not be available until the next annual catalogue.
If you’re looking for Christmas gifts, you can always choose expedited shipping, or the guaranteed delivery route of a YamStamps gift certificate! The gift certificates are available in any amount, and are good for purchasing product or paying class fees. Contact me to purchase one.
Happy Shopping!

Stampin’ Up! Canada is getting ready for the new year with this Year-End Sale that’s like a glorified, extra-large Clearance Rack! Selected Holiday Catalogue Retiring Items (which now does NOT include the Woodlands Embossing Folder) are up to 40% off plus there’s items from the Clearance Rack up to 60% off. Time to stock up?! Click on the banner or HERE to start shopping in the YamStamps Online Stampin’ Up! Canada store. There is no minimum purchase required, no refunds/exchanges on sale merchandise, and items are available while supplies last.
Please note – check the list of retiring items frequently as it is updated – there are items that are NO LONGER available – at this point in time this includes the Sleigh Ride Edgelits, Jingle All the Way set and Woodlands Embossing Folder. When you click on the link for retiring items, you will be downloading the most recent list. As noted Tuesday, the Woodlands Embossing Folder will be brought back in the next Annual Catalogue, so if you missed out on it this time around, you’ll be able to grab it in June.
Dec 8, 2015 | Announcements, specials, Stampin' Up!
Sorry for a bit of radio silence here on the blog – busy offline! In the meantime – here’s the latest batch of Weekly Deals from Stampin’ Up! Canada. Remember that there’s a limited amount of these items at the special price, and only for a week. My favourite this week (though I love and own all these items! LOL) – has to be the Precision Base Plate. I love it for cutting out detailed thinlits (which I’ve been doing a fair bit of right now as I am rushing to get MY Christmas cards done!!). I think that if you’re going to be using the Big Shot, you might as well have the proper tools to make your crafting more efficient and easy – so this falls into that category for me.
Other good news today??!! Our wishes (and the demonstrators making a lot of noise and sales LOL) have been answered! Stampin’ Up! has reversed the retirement of the Woodlands Folder! While it is no longer available to be ordered at this time (backorders will be filled), it WILL be returning in next year’s catalogue!!! They could not ignore how popular this folder was! Yay! So even if you couldn’t grab one this time around, know that there’s more coming.
In the meantime – happy shopping! Come back to the YamStamps site again this week – I’ll be sharing some fantastic holiday themed cards I’ve received!
Dec 1, 2015 | specials, Stampin' Up!
Happy December! It’s a busy day in the YamStamps world – new Stampin’ Up! Canada Weekly Deals, the monthly newsletter goes out today, Week 10 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas goes out tomorrow….*phew*. This week, I have decided to go with my basic instinct when picking out my favourite weekly deal – I’m easily distracted by shiny objects, so the Gold Glimmer Paper is down as my fave deal this week. Great for adding glamour and bling to your projects! Click on the link or the image to see all the Weekly Deals in the YamStamps online store (and YamStamps App users, I _think_ I’ve figured out a workaround for the store link issues, so see if it works for you in this post!). Please feel free to contact me if you need assistance placing your order or have any questions.
Also – if you’re in the Halton Cogeco viewing area, check out @Home this week – I taped a segment last week featuring some holiday decor and crafting ideas. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get a digital version to share here, but if I can’t, I will produce a video sharing a fun project I did on the show. In the meantime, Happy Shopping and Happy Crafting!
