Stampin’ Up! has another free digital download that might have escaped your notice (it escaped mine…..I hang my head in shame….). Packed For You is a digital template that you can download, decorate and then print and assemble – great for end of school year gifts?! Here’s the coupon book / photo book that I shared on my TV shots this past week or so. Both are made in the same way…. the outside cardstock is cut to 4.25″ x 11″, and the inner cardstock/paper is cut to 4″ x 10.5″. All are folded in half, and then I punched 2 holes along the fold line and threaded ribbon through it to hold it together. Easy peasy. Coupon books are a quick and easy gift, and when you make it yourself it’s even better! These samples used the Apothecary Arts set (photo book) Serene Silhouettes set (coupon book)
Another option – I used the soda pop tops from the Spring Catalogue, flattened in my Big Shot. I printed out a photo onto paper (I have a laser printer so not sure how well this will work with an inkjet image…), punched it out with my 1″ circle punch, then adhered it into the centre. I punched another hole in the top of the pop top (I used my Crop a Dile which goes through metal like butter!) I coated it with Crystal Effects and let it dry. Another fun and easy quick gift!
You still have time to make these yourself…or another option is to download the “Because I Love You” Digital Swatchbook Template. You can edit it in MDS or photo editing software, print it out and assemble it in time for tomorrow!

I love how Stampin’ Up! sets the themes according to the month of release. My friend used the bride and groom image on their wedding invitations so I love seeing it again here. We embossed the image in silver embossing powder onto metal DVD cases that housed the invites (and a special DVD too!). Here’s the image of the invite…a few years ago now… Click on the image to get a better view. Using easily found bulk chocolates and a bit of cardstock, you can create fun additions for your Easter table – I created bunnies, a lamb and a duck…go to the post and check them out!

Happy Valentine's Day to you! I hope that you are able to spend time with people that are special to you.
This is a quick and easy project that doesn't take too much to create – just some coordinating papers and accessories. You can form whatever shape you wish – in this case, I did a heart because it's for Valentine's Day – and punched a variety of circle sizes and hearts. I then threw in a few buttons for good measure. I don't like "naked" buttons but don't always have the patience to thread them, so in this case, I used some rhinestones and adhered them in the centres of the buttons. Use one of the Designer Series paper Stacks in one colour family to make it easy to have a cohesive look. Tada! A quick and easy decoration!

Fun thing about creating scrapbook pages – you can frame them to display like the work of art that they are! This is one of the displays from Stampin' Up!'s convention – I still have so many photos to go through…I loved the effect of the butterflies going through the frame – and so easy to recreate using the Beautiful Wings embosslit and your Big Shot.
The Lattice Bigz die creates a layer on the background of DSP; and hey – look, there's a notched edge on that strip of paper behind the photo? Wonder how they might have done that??!! ROFLOL.
