Stampin’ Up!’s Hearth and Home Thinlits Dies make a fun combination with the Happy Scenes set (discounted in a bundle!) – and you can match the scene to the season! This scene was coloured with Stampin’ Write markers and a wash with the aquapainters in the sky & ground, but I was a little too delicate with my background colouring so it’s a bit washed out here, but the leaves (and wind!) match the scene outside my window today. (oh, and Room With a View is one of my favourite films ever, so I love that I can use that in a blog post title!)

I signed up for Paper Pumpkin after I realized I also subscribed to a similar thing for makeup (Ipsy), which I started just as a fun treat for myself. Then I realized, DUH….why wouldn’t I do the same thing for my crafting? Each month I get an exclusive photopolymer stamp set plus all the supplies to make a fun project – often it’s cards, but can also be packaging and gift items. It’s a perfect size to take with me when I travel or go to a crafting event/crop.
Happy World Cardmaking Day! I’m happy to announce that Merry & Bright Online Card Class is now available! This class features four holiday cards that use the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper and White Perfect Accents on each card, with a variety of stamps and inks to make each project unique. This is the online version of the Merry & Bright Class that was held in August in Burlington – so if you weren’t able to attend in person, you can see it online! You’ll get a list of supplies, written instructions and a total of four videos showing the creation of each card. I’m excited to be on Morning Live today (estimated air time 9:45 am) – sharing some cardmaking ideas in honour of World Cardmaking Day (this Saturday). I’m also hoping to boost my donation amount! I’m sharing this card that I am NOT planning on sharing on TV today, since we know how that goes for me in general….I plan a blog post with a project that I’m intending to show on air, and somehow run out of time or forget to show it during the segment….so I’m not even going to try with this one! This was made with the Stampin’ Up! set You’ve Got This and stamped with the new format Archival Basic Black ink which gives a great, sharp imprint, and withstood watercolouring with an Aquapainter.
