Happy Holidays! It’s here and active – Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Catalogue. It’s never to early to start getting ready for that season….though I say that every year and somehow feel like I’m rushing around in the days just before Christmas…. The beginning of this month also brings a new “Best of” set – and it again gets us looking ahead to get ready for a season – in this case, it’s the “Best of Halloween” (on a side note, am I the only one who feels funny spelling it without the apostrophe that I grew up with? Hallowe’en??). Remember that each of the Best of Sets is available until March 31, 2014, and once you purchase 6 “Best of” sets, you get to pick a set for free!

Happy New Year! It’s the new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue year 🙂 As sad as it is to bid farewell to the retiring products it’s very exciting to see all the new products available! I’m hosting an Open House and Retired Rubber Sale this Saturday, June 8th, here in Burlington. Please RSVP to reserve your copy of the new catalogue, as well as helping me figure out how much food to put out!! (plus get directions if you need them!)
If you’d like to get a copy of the catalogue but can’t make it that day, please contact me to make arrangements to get your own physical copy!
I’m also taking bookings for in home classes – you can be sure we’ll be using some fun new product and colour in the projects we create. My next monthly card class will be Wednesday, June 12th – please note the date change – it’s the SECOND Wednesday of the month, not the first. If you’re looking to budget out your new catalogue spending, consider joining my Stampers Club – spread your purchases out over 6 months, and you get hostess dollars to spend once during that 6 month period!
In the meantime, I’ll be packaging and pricing retiring goodies for the sale….hope to see you Saturday morning at 9am!!

Just dropped off my donation for the Charles R. Beaudoin PS Silent Auction! I donated a package of paper crafting items (plus gift certificates – free class for 6!) for the Annual Barbeque. Later today, I’ll be doing final preparations for the Tansley Cares Event at Tansley United Church. It’s been a little while since we did this event and I’m looking forward to it! We’ll create cards that will be sent to people at various times during the year – significant events and times when people could use a bit of support or a boost. I’ll also donate 20% of product sales towards the Tansley Cares group. If you’d like to participate in that, email me with an order!
The other excitement is that new catalogue orders can start later TODAY! There’s an overlap – you can order retiring product until June 3rd, but you can start ordering new catalogue product May 31st (after 2pm eastern time)! So much opportunity to shop…..

I love how Stampin’ Up! sets the themes according to the month of release. My friend used the bride and groom image on their wedding invitations so I love seeing it again here. We embossed the image in silver embossing powder onto metal DVD cases that housed the invites (and a special DVD too!). Here’s the image of the invite…a few years ago now… Click on the image to get a better view.
