One More Holiday Post….then I’m moving on – promise!!

One-page-layout-ChristmasOne more page that I shared on TV. This is a "traditional" scrapbook page – done with a 12" x 12" sheet of cardstock and photos. I like graphic layouts that are symmetrical….can you tell?? For one – they're easy to create! This page highlights the tradition that my mother has of giving her _great_ nieces & nephews an ornament at Christmas. (I have to correct my journaling on the page, as I was informed that I only wrote "nieces & nephews" – have to get the generational context correct).

Is one of your resolutions to get scrapbooking?! Consider attending my scrapbook class on Friday, January 13th at 7pm here in Burlington. It will be a good luck charm, I'm sure! We'll create a 2 page layout that evening, and you can add your photos at home.  Cost is $25 and includes all your supplies, including adhesive. I'll have everything prepped & ready for you! All you have to do is RSVP. Get those memories down on cardstock before the details are forgotten!

Happy New Year! Welcome 2012

Happy New Year! Have you made your resolutions? I have the typical ones (at least for me) plus a few ones that are new to my list.

One of my perpetual resolutions is to be more organized….so I had to chuckle to myself when I was asked to be on CH Morning Live again – the theme being organizing your holiday memories!  I am choosing to focus on the creative side of organizing memories, specifically scrapbooking the memories to preserve them! I'm scheduled to appear tomorrow morning (Monday, January 2nd) around 8:10 am if you're in the viewing area.

If you are hoping to get more scrapbooking done this year (or get started) – I'm scheduling a few scrapbooking classes here in Burlington over the next few months. We'll create two page layouts that you can then add your photos and memorabilia to once you take your masterpieces home.  See my classes page for more information, or contact me to register.

Thank you for being a reader of my blog, and I wish you a very happy, healthy and creative 2012.

WHOOPS! One more choice!!

Star-cardThis was to be one of the choices for the Christmas Card Clinics…..and I inadvertently left it out of the photo album for the clinic.  DOH.

Anyway, this is a seventh option for your choice of Christmas cards, so once again, if you'd like to make these for your friends and family, contact me to register and reserve your spot in one of the clinics.

Christmas Card Clinics – less than a week away!

Snowflake-cardThis is one of the card options for the Christmas Card clinics starting next week.  I also decided to showcase it today at Carolanne's workshop – as she had requested to do a couple of Christmas cards. I always think monochromatic colour schemes are so elegant.

If you'd like to mass produce these cards to send to your friends, please register for one of my card clinics – just let me know which card you'd like to make, and which date you'll be attending.  All clinics are here in Burlington, and there's a choice of days and times. Please note that space is limited so register early!

Are you getting ready?!

Tree-card-christmasThought I'd have this photo up and out in the open to remind you about the Christmas Card Clinics – starting November 12th!  This is one of the card designs you may choose – I will prep everything and have the supplies out, you come and create! Cost is $30 for 10 cards and envelopes.  There's a photo album on the sidebar of the blog "Card Clinic 11" with other choices.  I hope to have a few more options to tempt you over the weekend.  Time to start making your list (of Christmas card recipients!).  Please contact me if you have any questions, or to register for one of the clinics.
