So…um…I realized that I never posted this for November, though it's been in effect since November 1st. Well, better late than never?! November's Class to Go is the Tree Trimmings Class. If you are interested in receiving full instructions for all the projects, all you have to do is place an online order here for $50 worth of merchandise. Registration for the in-person class version is now closed. If you wish to purchase the Class to Go option, please contact me. Cost is $25 and includes full instructions and precut cardstock and accessories. You supply the stamp set, ink, tools and adhesives. By request, I'm once again posting the cherry pound cake recipe to share with you. Please remember that if we're ever invited to the same pot luck, stamping event, whatever, that I get first dibs on bringing this dish ROFLOL.
Cherry Pound Cake
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp almond extract (**I use vanilla since we have nut allergies in the household)
1 cup candied cherries, halved
Mix together flour & salt, remove 1/2 cup of mixture & combine with halved cherries. Set aside. Cream together butter & sugar until fluffy, add eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition. Add extract. Gradually add the flour mixture, then add the floured cherries. Bake in greased loaf pan at 300 degrees for 90 minutes. Cake often cracks on top.

In celebration of World Card Making Day, Saturday October 3rd, I will be holding a Stamp a Stack in Hamilton, Ontario. What's a Stamp a Stack? Quite simply, you come & stamp a stack of cards… and of course there will be displays, prizes and light snacks. We're still ironing out the final details but I wanted to give you a heads up.
