Starting today, there are more ways to Sale-a-Brate! Stampin’ Up! has released a new set of options for your Sale-a-Bration Rewards. This second release of products will be available to select with a qualifying order until March 31 or while supplies last.
This fun card was made using the second release stamp set Rise and Shine. It’s a Level 2 Reward so a $120 product order will qualify you to choose this for free! (and yes, there’s a “tea” stamp as well, so you can customize it!). Check out another fun sample in today’s YamStamps Newsletter (going out at 1pm Eastern) – it’s the big monthly projects newsletter with 4 different project tutorials! Click here to sign up if you’re not already subscribed.
If you’re looking for more ways to Sale-a-Brate, please note that there’s a few date changes on the YamStamps Events calendar this month due to March Break, so check out the YamStamps Events Page to keep up with those! Contact me if you’d like to join us at Monthly Card Class or Stampers Club this month or next. We’d love to have you join us!
Love this colour combination! This congratYOUlations card features some of the Sale-a-Bration product you can choose for free with qualifying orders!
Love the clean feel of this grey and pink combo – it may pull me out of my “blue” project phase….at least for a while! Basic Gray (using Stampin’ Up! spelling there LOL), Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo are the shades used for this card. It uses one stamp set – Thoughtful Blooms (also available in a French Version, Fleurs Attentionnées)- which you can select for free with a $60 CAD product order, and the coordinating Small Bloom Punch, which you can select for free with a $120 CAD product order. I love the Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up smaller shapes – like these flowers.
My hint for this card? Stamp the sentiment first. That way, if it’s not “perfect” you can flip the cardstock over. Once the sentiment is in place, it’s also easier to place the rest of the elements! The leaf sprays were stamped next, then the dots, then the little pink flowers. (OK maybe the flowers and dots were in reverse order, I can’t exactly remember now…). Stamp the flowers on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, punch out with the punch (use it upside down so you can centre the image in the punch) and adhere with the Mini Dimensionals.
Demonstrators are able to preorder product before it’s available to the “general public”. For Sale-a-Bration items, demonstrators can actually purchase the items ahead of time, so to get a “jump” on creating with the products. (it’s the one period that these items can be purchased). It’s one of the fun perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator (see more here!shameless plug haha). I personally like to pre-order a few items and then get the rest for free once they are available with a qualifying purchase!
I think I’m going to make a few extra of these CongratYOUlations cards to send to some of my demonstrator team to celebrate their accomplishments over the past month, and keep some on hand in my card stash for future celebrations!
*EDIT – this has been a popular pin on the YamStamps Pinterest Board! If you’ve come here from Pinterest – thanks for visiting! Please consider signing up for the YamStamps Newsletter to get paper crafting ideas and information directly to your inbox each week!

Stampin’ Up! Coordination Product Release February 2020
Sale-a-Bration is Stampin’ Up!’s way of welcoming the new year. For each $60 CAD in product that you order, you can earn a free product of your choice from the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue. There is no limit to how many SAB items you can earn! For hosts, there’s a special host only Sale-a-Bration set available and for new demonstrators, there’s an extra stamp set of your choice plus a paper sampler and mini paper cutter included in your starter kit!
This card was created using the exclusiveSale-a-Bration host stamp set called Little Ladybug. This set can be yours for free! If your class/party product total sales are $375 or more, you’ll get the set for free. You can have your party in person or online, share a catalogue with your friends and collect orders, or restock your craft room…LOL.
New demonstrators always get a great deal with their Starter Kits. You select $165 worth of product and pay only $135 plus Provincial Sales Tax. If you’re in a province that has a blended tax (like Ontario, with the HST), you pay NO tax. There’s no shipping charges! During Sale-a-Bration, you get to select an additional stamp set of your choice, plus you’ll receive this cute mini paper cutter AND a 6″ x 6″ sampler of the Designer Series Papers from the Mini Catalogue. Talk about a fantastic way to start off your own paper crafting business! You can find my new demonstrator FAQ page here (shortcut is yamstamps.com/join)

It’s time to Sale-a-Brate, so check out the YamStamps Events Page for other upcoming events! If you’re not local to Burlington ON, there are online options for most everything – so contact me to find out more.
Let Them Eat Cake! OK so I know I’m not using that quote in the correct context, but it talks about cake so that’s good enough for me. Check out this Birthday Cake Card, made with Stampin’ Up!’s Cake Builder Punch which is available for ordering once again!
Today’s Sunday Swap Share is this Birthday Cake Card from Karina Chin – who used the Piece of Cake Bundle on her card. The discounted bundle includes the Piece of Cake Photopolymer (clear/see through) stamp set and the Cake Builder Punch, which is once again in stock and available to order….though I notice it says “Low Inventory” which means it may go on backorder – so if you’d like it and need it now, please don’t hesitate to order it! In the background, the Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder was used to add texture. This folder is available for purchase, or as a Level 1 Sale-a-Bration reward choice with a $60 product order. (please note that there are different item numbers, depending on if you’re purchasing or getting as a Sale-a-Bration item).
There is more good news – Stampin’ Up! has let us know that the Cake Builder Punch (AND the Butterfly Duet Punch – hopefully available to order again in the next couple of weeks) will be available beyond the Occasions Catalogue! I don’t know if the BUNDLES will be carried over, though, so if you’d like to get the stamp set and punch together at a discounted price, you’ll want to be sure to grab the bundle before June 3/while supplies last/once orderable. You can contact me if you have any questions or need assistance placing your order.
One week today I’ll be completing my leg of the Around the Bay Relay Race! This is the second time I’m doing the 2 person relay (15km each) – which I told myself would be so much easier than the bunch of times I did the full race….but at this point in time, I’m not so sure about that! It’s been a tough winter for training for sure – but I’m glad to be able to get out there. Wish me luck… (and I will definitely be saying “Let ME Eat Cake!” afterwards!!!)
Inspired by this Sunday Swap share, I took elements of the design and created this quick and simple positivity card. I’m not sure there’s actually a category called simple positivity cards, but there should be….so I’m starting it!
Remember to grab your Sale-a-Bration rewards soon! Sale-a-Bration ends on March 31, but supplies are not guaranteed (we’ve already seen a number of items sell out) – so don’t hesitate! You can always contact me if you need assistance placing an order.
I am getting prepared for the upcoming Kitchener Scrapfest – April 12 & 13. I’m going to have a vendor booth there, so I hope that you will be able to stop by and say hello! I’ll have a free make and take, displays and some product for sale – retired Stampin’ Up! product plus some brand new in package adhesive supplies. One thing that I really like about Stampin’ Up! is that as a demonstrator, I place orders for customers rather than having to carry full stock of all the products (can you imagine the cost!). This can be a bit of a drawback when I have a vendor booth, but I usually have enough retired product and adhesive products that I can sell, and of course, I can take orders as well.
You are going to want to check back in to the YamStamps blog next week, as I’ll be sharing a fun project that I had to delay posting about….because I want the recipient to be surprised! Plus it’s my birthday week, so I will want to celebrate….and you may benefit as well (hint hint LOL).
In the meantime, I hope that you will come up with a simple positivity card, like this one, and send it out to someone! If you do – please share it with us! You can post it in the Paper Crafting with YamStamps Facebook Group! I slacked off on the creative challenge in the group this month…but I will be posting a new creative challenge for April for sure. I’ve had the YamStamps Facebook Page for a while, but just started a group as well, so that hopefully there can be more conversation and sharing. Please click on the group link and request to join us – see you there!
