I'm trying something new! For the months of December and January, I am going to have a 50/50 board. What does this mean? For each $50 of merchandise that you order through me, you will have your name put on a square. Once 50 squares are full, one person will be chosen at random to receive a $50 gift certificate, plus there will be other smaller prize draws as well. If the board fills before January 30th, I will make the draw, and start a new board!
DETAILS: DATES: December 1, 2012 – January 30, 2013 *(with one exception, see below)
HOW IT WORKS: Place an order through me – online, via email or by phone/in person, for $50 of merchandise (pre-shipping/taxes). For EACH $50 of merchandise you order, you will receive one entry. Orders cannot be combined. A $49.95 merchandise order would not get you an entry, but a $100 merchandise order would get you two entries. Class fees are not included in this special promotion.
THE FINE PRINT: Must be a resident of Canada (as I cannot sell/ship outside of Canada).

'Tis the season…as I did my run today through the wind and snow…realized that I haven't been on here lately to share – apologies! Here's a quick and easy Christmas card done with Stampin' Up!'s Watercolour Winter set. I love stamping sentiments (the one on the card is from More Merry Messages)and then punching them out – it's an easy way for me to be sure that my sentiment is straight!! If you're looking to complete your card stash, don't forget that the last sessions of my Christmas Card Clinics are this week – registration closes Tuesday – so move fast! Select the design of your choice from the album, I'll cut and prep all the materials, and you come and create! Contact me ASAP or register on my events page.
Have you shopped all the deals in the Online Extravaganza? The sale ends this Wednesday, November 28th with a final set of doorcrasher specials. I think that the best deal in this whole set of items is the MDS2 (My Digital Studio 2) papercrafting digital software. It's 50% off!! Don't miss out.
Stampin' Up! has a limited number of these cute embossing machines available for sale – while supply lasts. It's available in a bundle (item 132700) priced at $45.95 (value $56.85) that includes:
Texture Boutique Embossing Machine, 1 Pair of Standard Embossing Pads, 1 Mylar Shim

There are some Stampin' Up! sets that I love in theory but sometimes find it hard to create with….not sure why…but Everything Eleanor is one of them. I love the images, but can't always create something to my satisfaction….but I _do_ like this one! The label image and sentiment were stamped first, then masked with scrap paper so that the swirls stamped afterwards appear to go behing the label. I was really happy with how this one turned out, except for one thing… I found that my new format Rich Razzleberry pad was sooooo juicy that the ink would get onto my fingers and then I'd end up smudging the cardfront. Happily, that's what embellishments help with – I placed the smallest of Paper Daisies onto the card to cover up some of the smudges, and then added a little bling with Basic Rhinestone.
Oh…by the way, if you'd like to get your hands on a full SET of those new format ink pads for FREE – please contact me! Buy a starter kit and not only will you get a ready-made home based business, you'll get a free set of ink pads! This is a great way to give your business a boost (or, let's face it, supply your crafting habit…LOL). Host a workshop with sales of $575 or more and you can also get a free set of ink pads! (or do both and get TWO sets of ink pads!!!!). This deal only lasts until December 16th – so don't miss out!!
I pulled up this photo of a poppy my son made in school a few years ago, since it's a papercraft and it's Remembrance Day…
I've noted before that I've been working on having an "attitude of gratitude" in general. I made sure that I took a few moments today to be grateful for all those who served and who still serve the country.
Don't miss out! Stampin' Up! is offering three FREE downloads for you! Click on the image or HERE to get them. They are great in My Digital Studio software, but can also be used in other photo editing software as well….so what are you waiting for? They're only available until tomorrow, Monday November 5th. Seriously. Don't miss out. It would just be silly to walk away from a freebie, don't you think??!! Contact me if you have any questions.
Here's another potential selection for the Christmas Card Clinics (which are coming up very soon!). This one uses the Big Shot to make a textured background for the Snow Swirled tree. I love how the pattern of the background is similar to the floral/stars part of the tree image.
New this year at my Card Clinics is the option to purchase some "bling" that you can then add onto your card of choice. This card has a bit of Dazzling Details on the floral images, but could also be jazzed up with the basic rhinestones or pearls.
See more details on the card clinics on the events page and you can register there as well! If you have questions or would prefer to pay in cash, please contact me directly.
