This is one of the swaps I received at Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Event – perfect for a Valentine's Day Card! Created by April Lopez, I love how the framelit creates a window to showcase the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper underneath. I know you are ALL saying "Life is like a box of chocolates…" in your best Forrest Gump voice (or is that just me?!). On my way to CHCH studios for today's appearance on Morning Live. I so enjoy being asked back to the show – today I'm sharing handmade cards and gifts for loved ones for Valentine's Day (or any other day!). I hope to get video that I can share here later. In the meantime, I'll be sure to post photos of the projects in my next few updates so please come back to get a better look at everything! Here's another Stampers Club card that we did in January. We used the Hearts a Flutter bundle – which includes the stamps and the framelits for you to use with your Big Shot. It's in the Stampin' Up! Spring Catalogue. The fun First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper is a backdrop for the die cut hearts and banner. I love how the Perfect Polka Dots adds a bit of texture to the background without being overwhelming.
I will be taking this card along with me when I go to CHCH studios tomorrow morning, but I'm not planning on featuring it so I feel safe to show it here. (For those newer to the YamStamps blog, it seems whenever I give a sneak peek of something I'm going to show on TV, we run out of time before we get to that project!). I do, however, plan on showing some other fun ways to show people that you care about them – on Valentine's Day or any other day during the year!! Plan is for me to be on around 9:15 on the Morning Live show, so I hope you're able to tune in! If not, I hope to be able to share a video here on the blog afterwards…so please come back to see.

This box is so cute – and it's the perfect size for a sweet treat for your Valentine. I used the Big Shot and the Bitty Box and Envelope Bigz XL Die. The heart uses the full heart punch and Red Glimmer Paper. On the Whisper White cardstock I used the heart strip from the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. The sentiment is from the Sale-a-Bration set Outlined Occasions, and you can select this as a free item with every $60 merchandise order.
I loved how easy this was to create!
Here's the inside of the box:
I used the Small Heart punch with the Red Glimmer paper; stamp is from the same set, and I coloured it in using my blender pen, picking up Cherry Cobbler ink from the inside of the ink pad lid. I like using the blender pen for tone on tone colouring because the shade matches but you can still see the outlined image. Two Ghirardelli chocolate squares fit perfectly inside. A sweet treat!
