Hope that you are able to enjoy some time with family & friends. I'm sharing a "Happy Harvest" card that we did at the Fall Stamp a Stack. It was designed by Andrea, a member of my downline (in non-demonstrator language that means she signed up as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator with me as her "sponsor").
This card uses the Loads of Love and Loads of Love Accessories stamp sets. It also uses the Stampin' Around wheel Fall Harvest. I love that the ink cartridge fits in the handle for the wheels…but in a pinch, if you don't have a cartridge for the colour you want, you can run the wheel over an ink pad! (Just don't expect to get miles out of it like you would with the handle cartridge LOL)
Andrea & I are teaming up again for the Holiday Stamp a Stack, Friday November 6th at 7pm. Come out for a fun evening of stamping & snacking LOL. We'll create 8 cards and a box of gift tags! Early Bird pricing is in effect now!

This sample was designed by my friend Mo (and created by me, so if you see any mistakes, they're all my fault! LOL)
We used the Autumn Splendor stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalogue, Oval All from the main catalogue, plus the Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper. Colours featured are Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede and Sahara Sand with a bit of Rose Red thrown in for good measure! I'm not sure if you can see it, but when we stamped the leaves with the Soft Suede, we then applied some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint to the stamp with a dauber before stamping it onto the cardstock. It gives a wonderful subtle shimmer & shine to the images!!
Thanks to everyone who attended the Fall Stamp a Stack. Looking forward to our upcoming Holiday Stamp a Stack, but there's plenty to do until then – check my class page for details! (I will remember to take pictures at the next Stamp a Stack!!! Too busy socializing and stamping (OK, eating, more like it) I think!)

One of the fun things about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is the opportunity to get together with other demonstrators. A while back I attended a get together in Toronto with my friend, Mo. This is one of the cards we created, based on a demonstrator’s sample. I _think_ this was Maureen’s card….but I could be wrong (sorry). Anyway, it uses the stampin’ around wheel Bright Blessings, the stamp set Autumn Blessings (Holiday Mini catalogue) and the little circle image is from the Falling Leaves stamp set.
There’s still time to register for the Fall Stamp-a-Stack, Saturday October 3rd – click below or contact me!

I'm off to a friend's demonstrator group get together today. I'm always grateful that Mo has included me in her group – since my original group is in British Columbia. Now that I'm living in Ontario, it's a bit far to go for get togethers.
We're doing a shoebox swap, so we each come up with a prototype card and supplies for each person to recreate it.
This was the first version of my card, using the Stampin' Up! set, Very Thankful. It's the Ronald McDonald House charity set – for each set sold, Stampin' Up! donates $2 to the RMHC.
I liked the card, but felt it was a bit blah. I asked my friend Sue (my original group leader!) to give me some input, so I amended it…
That, and some better editing of the photo lets the card "pop" a bit more, don't you think?
I added a layer of Melon Mambo onto the Rich Razzleberry card base. It's still a clean, simple design, but more substantial. (At least that's what I think!!).
In order to get the design and sentiment separate, I actually cut the rubber of the stamp before mounting it onto the wood. I like the ability to "custom mount" as I see fit!
I've mounted the images on one side. The label shows what's on the other side of the block…
This way, I can use just the images or just the sentiment…
I'm looking forward to getting together with _my_ group of demonstrators in September. If you'd like to be there, please take advantage of the current starter kit specials – which end on MONDAY. See here for more details & to get your starter kit….the password is ehteam. Please contact me if you have any questions.

This is a fun circle card that we made at our last club gathering. It features the In Colour Baja Breeze, which is making way for the new group of In Colours in July. From the Occasions Mini Catalogue we used the designer series paper Walk in the Park, the stamp set A Great Friend, plus the oval scallop punch. The cardstock is Basic Grey and a filigree brad holds the card together. You spin the little tab around to reveal the decorated white circle.
We're taking a summer break from club, and the new session starts in September. If you're interested, please contact me for details and to reserve your spot!
There's still space in the Soft Summer Class on Tuesday – contact me ASAP to grab a seat.
Check back as I update my calendar for the summer – I'll have offerings to keep you feeling "crafty" for the next few months!
