I love how Stampin’ Up! sets the themes according to the month of release. My friend used the bride and groom image on their wedding invitations so I love seeing it again here. We embossed the image in silver embossing powder onto metal DVD cases that housed the invites (and a special DVD too!). Here’s the image of the invite…a few years ago now… Click on the image to get a better view. In the meantime, I’m off to finalize details for Stampers Club on Monday – if you’re interested in joining us, contact me for more information or check out the details on the Events page!

Make a quarter turn with your paper and score at 2-3/4" both sides from the corner (perpendicular to your other score lines).
Fold inward along the 2-3/4" scores, then fold inwards in half along your centered score line, then back along the 3/4" score lines so that you have two pockets and a little indent in the centre.

This is a fun card I created using the bundle, plus the Cloudy Day embossing folder. I pulled the colours from the Designer Series Paper – so in this case, Calypso Coral and Pool Party – both of which are now part of the Stampin' Up! core colour families!!
It's a two-fer today – a card sample and a Frugal Fridays tip in one! This card uses the Spring Surprise Bundle which is only available until April 30th. You get the stamp set and punch at a great price (15% off)! We used Wild Wasabi for this card, and I love Monochromatic cards (it's the theme of my first online class) because I don't have to think too hard about what colours to use…plus they're effective!
So that's one Frugal Friday tip – use one colour and still have a great card…but it's not the tip I am featuring today. I used the coordinating sized scallop circle punches on this card – and the scallop circle behind the "Thank U" image is the same Wild Wasabi cardstock as the backing for the main image area. THAT'S the Frugal Fridays tip!! See the picture below…
Punch the backing circle from your backing cardstock in an unobtrusive area (i.e. not right at the edge where it might show…). Noone will be the wiser…unless they deconstruct your card like I did to this one (because I forgot to take the photo first LOL), or unless they see this post 😉

It's that time of year again….Stampin' Up! will be releasing its list of retiring stamps and accessories this Wednesday, April 24th. Usually, accessories are available while supplies last, only.
