Dec 21, 2011 | Big Shot, cards, Christmas
I love the Big Shot Stocking Die that Stampin' Up! carries – so perfect for this time of year! This is a card made with that die. I cut out two Cherry Cobbler stockings (at the same time), then embossed the Whisper White cardstock using the Petals-A-Plenty Embossing Folder. I then cut out the toe and heel with the die and the cuff as well. For the cuff, I folded the cardstock in half, then made sure that the fold was inside the cutting area for the cuff, so it didn't get cut off. With the fold intact, it holds this card together! One hint if you're going to re-create this card – if you fold the embossed cardstock with the good (puffy) side in before die cutting, it won't "crack" along the fold line as it may if you fold the other way. Ask me how I figured this one out…LOL.
Hope these last few days of preparation for Christmas aren't too crazy for you! Today's the last mailing for the 12 Weeks of Christmas for those on my email list so see you in your inbox a little later today.

This was to be one of the choices for the Christmas Card Clinics…..and I inadvertently left it out of the photo album for the clinic. DOH.
Anyway, this is a seventh option for your choice of Christmas cards, so once again, if you'd like to make these for your friends and family, contact me to register and reserve your spot in one of the clinics.

This is one of the card options for the Christmas Card clinics starting next week. I also decided to showcase it today at Carolanne's workshop – as she had requested to do a couple of Christmas cards. I always think monochromatic colour schemes are so elegant.
If you'd like to mass produce these cards to send to your friends, please register for one of my card clinics – just let me know which card you'd like to make, and which date you'll be attending. All clinics are here in Burlington, and there's a choice of days and times. Please note that space is limited so register early!

Thought I'd have this photo up and out in the open to remind you about the Christmas Card Clinics – starting November 12th! This is one of the card designs you may choose – I will prep everything and have the supplies out, you come and create! Cost is $30 for 10 cards and envelopes. There's a photo album on the sidebar of the blog "Card Clinic 11" with other choices. I hope to have a few more options to tempt you over the weekend. Time to start making your list (of Christmas card recipients!). Please contact me if you have any questions, or to register for one of the clinics.

I've started to upload a few designs to the Card Clinic folder for this year. The album is at the right on the blog or click here if you're reading this in an email update or reader. The way the clinic works – select a design, a date, and register and pay for a minimum of 10 cards of the same design. I will prep all the materials and have them ready for you on your selected date. You come to Burlington, stamp and assemble the cards and take them (and the envelopes) home to sign, seal and mail! Lovely handmade cards (by YOU) without the design hassle, prep or clean up! CONTACT ME if you have any questions or are ready to register.
